When & Where to Renew:
You can start the renewal process about 4 months before your current licence expires. Your application for renewal will be made online on the SIA Website
What You Need:
If you hold a Door Supervisor, Security Guard or Close Protection licence, you will be required to take the Refresher Top-up Training before you can apply for a renewal. The Top-up Refresher training includes updated course content to keep you updated with the latest security standards.
Notice: Top-up Refresher training has replaced the previous Top-up course for licence renewal.

Anyone looking to renew their licence can do the refresher training and apply for a renewal.
