To become a qualified security guard in the UK you must complete a SIA security guard training course and apply for your SIA licence. This course is 4 days long and you must also have an up-to-date emergency first aid at work qualification or higher to apply for your licence. Once you have completed your training and got your SIA licence, you can then apply for jobs in your local area using the Get Licensed app.
